Mercado, Antwerp’s first indoor food market, is a wonderful world of smells and flavors. Enjoy delicious street food like traditional quesadillas, falafel sandwiches and artisan shrimp croquettes. Mercado is all about honest, tasty and fresh food from all over the world.

Marble counters tops and gold-highlighted décor
The setting is an old post office building and the dining areas are former post office counters. There are marble counter tops, gold-highlighted décor and suspended lighting with plants to admire. You’ll eat at long communal tables, so if you’re looking to meet locals or other tourists, this is the place to be.
